DAY 226: MK take over LA recap!

one of the many [bad ass] pics we like to take together ;) picture taken at Falcon’s Restaurant in West Hollywood.

Hi ALL!

Wake up time on Friday morning was 7AM.  I had to drop off my LB at Tia Minerva’s house and I’m very grateful for her to take care of Lola while I was away.  Before I drove to K’s house I had to take care of an important errand that can’t be discussed on here because its [TOP SECRET]. :)

I met up with K and I’m guessing we didn’t leave her house a little after 10AM maybe??  We stopped at Einstein Bagels and Jamba Juice before we made our 1.5hour-2hour road trip up to LA.  You are probably wondering why we went up there huh?  I’m so proud to say that my [partnerncrime] is having her FIRST GALLERY SHOWING IN HOLLYWOOD!!!  How exciting is that!?!  All thanks to [Michael] Agorilla from M.oovement.  K wanted to check out the location of where her gallery will be held at, at the end of April and I must say its an amazing/fun ;) place to throw a great party!  Details and all that important stuff to follow later!

When we finally arrived in LA or Burbank I should say, K went to take care of her things that needed to be done first before we can have our own little fun haha!  Getting the important things out of the way wasn’t quite that easy at the beginning!  We experienced bad customer service and both of us needed to use the bathroom badly thanks to the Jamba Juice!  I think K worked her charm ;) and got a discount from the guy that helped her *high 5*

From Einstein bagels to Jamba Juice it was time to move on to Yummie Cupcakes.  If you ever visit Burbank its a must stop cupcake shop to visit!  We went there and met up with K’s cousin [Clarissa—fits her so well :) instead of Jill lol] who recently moved from the windy city!  Btw thank you for your hospitality inviting us into your home to have coffee and cupcakes :).  We lost track of the time we forgot about having lunch with Caleb! oops! We had to head back to K’s car because we parked in a 2 hour parking spot.

Next stop: meeting Michael to hand him the postcards for K’s Gallery Showing. I forgot to mention this to K but I felt like we were doing something illegal LOL.  We were inside Urban Outfitters just standing there and I’m listening to them discuss about the event.  I don’t know why we didn’t go somewhere to sit down and talk lol.  Anyway guess what we did after?!?!  WE ATE AGAIN and this time it was sushi at Octopus in downtown Burbank.  Sushi was so good and I’m glad it was Friday = NO MEAT! After that we walked around for a bit, found a place that has Crepes and we werealmostthiscloseordering a crepe!  We were so full from sushi I don’t think anyone could squeeze in a crepe!

Later on that evening it was time to head to Caleb’s place where we stayed at for one night.  His roommates were really nice and very welcoming :).  Thank you so much for letting us stay at your lovely home!  Def I had some good times right K!? LOL.

That Friday night we checked out Falcon’s Restaurant in Hollywood the place where K will have her first gallery showing!  I can’t wait to see the transformation once everything is all set up!  Seriously if you are reading this blog and if you are in LA or will be in LA at the end of April (30th to be exact) please come by to check out her work!! We promise you a good time because we sure did have some good times in there lol.

Saturday morning woke up with a slight headache.  K and I went to Brite Spot with Caleb and Big D for breakfast.  The serving was just right but I didn’t finish my hash browns because I was so full.  When we came home I didn’t want to waste the day because we were leaving.  So one of Caleb’s roommate Jon he took us to Little Tokyo.  I finally had my Taro Bubble tea and yes we ate again but this time at a Korean bbq restaurant.  The highlight of our day was taking pictures inside a photo booth that prints out Hello Kitty sticker pictures of all of us acting like fobs lol.

After our tour of Little Tokyo we came home to pack the rest of our things and if you guessed right again.  We were going to meet up with Michael at Pig and Whistle to have a late dinner and watch him perform.  Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see him perform because we had to drive back down to SD and we both had to work in the AM.

Overall I had a great time in LA and I just want to thank K for showing me a good time =). Can’t wait for next month our adventure continues!! Just you wait and see!
