DAY 195: Off day #2
Good Afternoon! Just woke up an hour ago haha :) Another off day and last night’s adventure with K was another one to add for 2010! Haha. Lets see…
One of K’s co-workers recommended her to go to this place called Wine Steals They have 4 different locations and we plan to visit all of them! How can you beat happy hour that begins at 11AM-7PM Monday thru Friday?!?! Annnnnd $2 sliced pizzas!! I wish we found this place when my girls from Chitown were here for my birthday! Guys can go if they enjoy wine and if not they can have beer from the fridge not on tap! This place is Wine heaven to us and the prices were reasonable too! I highly recommend anyone to go to any of their 4 locations Hillcrest (first place we checked out), Point Loma, Cardiff, and East Village. K and I ordered 2 orders of sliced pizzas and a half board of Cheese & Salami which was a perfect size to share with 2-3 people. If you are with a group we recommend ordering a full board!
After spending several hours at Wine Steals we walked over to the Ruby Room. The last time I went was a whole different experience —-a place I would never go to again. We went because K haven’t been there and we decided to do some people watching at the most random bar in Hillcrest. When we walked in they were having $1 beers and we only had 10 minutes to order. The bartender was nice enough to make us a special drink on the house. =). Plus I think we were the only girls there since it was still early on into the night. The people at RR were really nice don’t get me wrong but to find a place where anyone can go you wouldn’t see in a bar/club in downtown come together. You have your grams/gramps, middle age, hipsters (is that right?), classy (dressed up in their best slacks, button up shirt, dressy), not so classy (they just rolled out of bed), few college kids, gays, straights, white, black, and all the colors of the rainbow in one place.
Their was a local band there and I must say the lead singer did a great job playing the violin! I couldn’t believe we watched the entire set of this band and after they were done—it was time for me to go. I know K had fun =). LOL! Also I would like to add that we were home before midnight! That is a first for us and to end our night with we visited this site texts from last night If you haven’t been there yet its a must read LOL and our favorite text we came across that we couldn’t stop laughing is “and then she said I drew a line on her forehead with my cum and whispered “SIMBA” LOLOL!
So that was our random night last night! Tonight we are going to see Valentine’s Day so its a movie night for us and who knows what after that =)
