DAY 186: Aurelia’s Oratorio
Behind the red velvet curtain lies Aurélia’s topsy-turvy world of tricks and transformations. Dreams come to life in her imaginative world of delight and darkness when everyday activities become enchanting vignettes composed of aerial acrobatics, illusion, magic, vaudeville and dance. Through each episode she turns her universe in reverse and fascinates audiences as “a performer who practically defines the word beguiling.” (The San Francisco Chronicle)
Inspired by medieval drawings that depict worlds upside down and inside out, the traditions of music hall, variety and circus, Aurélia Thierrée collaborated with her mother Victoria Thierrée Chaplin to create the international hit Aurélia’s Oratorio.
K scored some free tickets at work to see this amazing show and if you’re in the SD area I highly recommend it! Its kinda funny we went to see this show tonight but you will know what I mean when that time comes around! I absolutely loved it and I hope to see something like this in the near future!
Earlier today I hung out with my wonderful Aussie friend Almira haha. We did some [scheming] today and couldn’t believe how much we’ve done! We are both excited and can’t wait for the final results! I know none of this makes sense but just give me a couple weeks and all the pieces of this nonsense blog will all come together! PROMISE =).
